Staßfurt. The KVHS’s programme of courses at the Berufsförderungswerk (BfW) in Staßfurt resumes on Monday, 2 November 2026, at 6.00 pm, with a Qigong course for adults, comprising six sessions, each lasting one hour. Qigong is a combination of slow movements, controlled breathing and meditation; it helps to relax the body and mind, thereby enhancing participants’ general well-being.
A six-week Yogilates course is also planned, starting on Wednesday 4 November 2026, from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm. This combination of yoga and Pilates is beneficial for both body and mind and is suitable for beginners and participants who would like to try both. In this course, stretching exercises and the strengthening and relaxing elements of yoga and Pilates combine to create the perfect full-body workout.
This is followed by a Hatha yoga class from 6.15 pm to 7.30 pm. During this session, participants learn to escape stress, become more aware of their bodies and recharge their batteries. Through physical exercises, breathing exercises and meditation, they find a balance between body and mind. The primary aim of the class is relaxation. A positive side effect is that muscles are strengthened and the spine and joints become more supple.
