Aschersleben. In the Yogilates class at the Kreisvolkshochschule, participants are led by an instructor who guides them through a gentle yet effective workout designed to build strength, improve mobility and promote relaxation – ideal for anyone looking to improve their flexibility, strength endurance and posture, and well suited to beginners. A new course comprising eight sessions begins on 17 August at 10 am at Augustapromenade 44.
Qigong, with its slow and flowing movements, is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Anyone interested who has no previous experience can join the class on 19 August at 5.45 pm. All other interested participants are asked to arrive from 4.30 pm. Both Qigong courses are scheduled to run for nine sessions.
On 20 August from 4 pm to 5 pm, the KVHS invites you to a journey of imagination and sound – a cosy get-together for parents and children (aged four and over) or grandparents. Following this, from 5.30 pm, a ‘Time for Yourself’ programme of fantasy and sound journeys will begin, comprising three sessions. Here, participants can find peace and recharge their batteries.
Also on 20 August, the next Hatha yoga course – which is also open to those returning to the practice – begins at 5.15 pm in the WEMA Hall, the gymnastics room at the BbS in Aschersleben. A week later, on 27 August, a certified preventive course in Autogenic Training begins at 5 pm. Over eight weeks, participants will learn and practise the techniques of Autogenic Training. They will harness the power of their thoughts to find peace, relaxation and serenity.
