Aschersleben. Autogenic training is a recognised relaxation method that strengthens both body and mind. A certified KVHS course, held in the late afternoon and subsidised by health insurance funds, is set to begin in Aschersleben in late summer: from 27 August, with eight sessions running from 5 pm to 6.30 pm.
In autogenic training, course participants utilise the power of their thoughts to achieve calm, relaxation and serenity. The exercises build on each other and represent a short journey through the body. Through their own imagination, participants learn to put themselves in a state of relaxation, to reduce stress better and to positively counteract difficulties falling asleep and sleeping through the night. Those who master the basics can improve their health. All you need is a little practice, and the health-promoting effect is most noticeable when the exercises are practised regularly and integrated into everyday life.
