Information for vehicles with Ukrainian registration
With effect from 02.04.2024, a corresponding exemption from the freedom of admission for Ukrainian war refugees is required. The corresponding application for an exemption must be submitted to the Saxony-Anhalt State Administration Office, Department 30, Ernst-Kamieth-Str. 2 in 06112 Halle (Saale). The contact details are
According to current knowledge, this regulation expires on 30/09/2024. This means that these vehicles are subject to the Vehicle Registration Ordinance (FZV) and must then be registered accordingly.
Note: Please note that a certificate must be obtained from the main customs office in advance and an expert opinion must also be prepared in accordance with § 21 StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations) for registration.
