Minimum age: 21 (18 years old – drivers with basic qualification in accordance with Section 4(1) No. 1 of the German Professional Driver Qualification Act (BKrFQG) or vocational training as a professional driver or specialist in driving operations)

• Valid identity card or passport with current registration certificate (not older than 90 days)
• Paper photograph that complies with the provisions of the Passport Regulation of 19 October 2007 (no digital photos)
• Certificate of good conduct according to § 30 Federal Central Register Act (BZRG) (to be applied for at the responsible registration office and directly to the Salzlandkreis, 32 FD Ordnung und Straßenverkehr, Fahrerlaubnisbehörde in 06400 Bernburg (Saale) The certificate of good conduct must not be older than 3 months at the time of application.
• An ophthalmological certificate - not older than two years not older than two years in accordance with Annex 6 of the FeV

• A certificate of physical or mental aptitude in accordance with the official model in Annex 5 of the FeV - not older than one year

• Certificate of participation in first aid training
• Driving licence, if applicable
• Address of the instructing driving school
• Address of the testing organisation (e.g. TÜV or DEKRA if the training takes place outside Saxony-Anhalt and notification of testing location)
• Signature sticker for the production of the card driving licence if already available, otherwise this is done here when the application is submitted
• Aptitude assessment in accordance with Appendix 5, Section 2 FeV (professional check): On 25 June 2021, the transitional provision of Section 76 No. 17 Sentence 3 FeV will expire. This means that after 25 June 2021, both officially recognised assessment centres for driving aptitude and doctors authorised to carry out aptitude tests in accordance with Section 11 (9) in conjunction with point 2 of Annex 5 FeV (e.g. doctors with the specialisation "occupational medicine" or the additional qualification "company medicine") may only use suitable and tested test procedures and equipment. The current list of suitable test procedures and equipment can be found on the website of the Federal Highway Research Institute.
