• Motorbikes with a maximum design speed of no more than 45 km/h and an electric motor or an internal combustion engine with a cubic capacity of no more than 50 cm3, which also have the characteristics of bicycles in terms of usability (bicycles with auxiliary motor),
• three-wheeled mopeds and four-wheeled light motor vehicles with a maximum design speed of no more than 45 km/h and a cylinder capacity of no more than 50 cm3 in the case of spark-ignition engines, a maximum net power of no more than 4 kW in the case of other internal combustion engines or a maximum continuous rated power of no more than 4 kW in the case of electric engines; in addition, the unladen mass of four-wheeled light motor vehicles must not exceed 350 kg, excluding the mass of the batteries in the case of electric vehicles.
