Description: As part of the subsidy programme, the green roofs were renovated, windows and insulation in the old building were replaced, and escape and emergency route lighting (safety lighting) was installed. In addition, the gym was repainted and the sports floor was refurbished. The subsidy was provided by the federal government.

Calbe | Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium | outdoor area
Funding measure: Outdoor facilities at Friedrich Schiller Grammar School in Calbe

Description: As part of the Saxony-Anhalt state school construction programme, the area of approximately 1,650 m² that became available following the demolition of a building was converted into a school playground and sports field. The project was funded by the federal government.

- Installation of a load-bearing filling floor
- Creating pipework and drainage trenches
- Construction of a small playing field with a synthetic surface measuring approx. 15 x 28 m including lines
- New schoolyard area with concrete slabs / concrete paving

Description: As part of the funding programme, fire safety measures were upgraded throughout the entire school building, including the installation of smoke-proof doors, new entrance and emergency exit doors, smoke detection systems, and lighting for escape and rescue routes (emergency lighting), replacement of classroom doors, construction of a new classroom and upgrading of the stairwells. The project was funded by state and federal funds.
