As part of the "Guideline on the granting of subsidies to promote measures for shaping demographic change" issued by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Digital Affairs of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, the Salzlandkreis district has completely revamped the district administration's website.
As a future hub for information, knowledge transfer and services, it connects the everyday reality of life for residents in the district with the services offered by the administration.
Under the project title "Active. Together. Networked. - Online communication and interaction in the Salzlandkreis digital ecosystem," the Salzlandkreis district is implementing a central digitisation project as part of its Salzlandkreis 2030 future strategy. The aim is to strengthen digital administration, communication and service orientation in the district in the long term – with a modern, accessible and service-oriented website as the central digital gateway.
The new website forms the centrepiece of a digital ecosystem that connects administration, citizens, business and science. It offers compact information, digital services and new opportunities for interaction.
Project goals
With the relaunch of the district website, the Salzlandkreis is pursuing several key objectives:
- Strengthening digital services of general interest - through user-friendly online information and administrative services
- Ensuring accessibility - in accordance with BITV 2.0 and EU Directive 2016/2102
- Expand service orientation - with form systems, appointment booking and online applications
- Promoting transparency and participation - through clear structures, modern search and integration of external services
- Establishing a digital administrative culture - through training, editorial concepts and knowledge transfer
In the long term, a platform will be created that positions the Salzland district as a modern, networked and citizen-centred administration.
