Future strategy Salzlandkreis 2030
When organisations or companies develop strategies for their own future development today, they are describing very specific goals. They paint a picture of opportunities and prospects for each individual for future "co-creators" and thus a picture of a possible future.
The Salzlandkreis district administration has also submitted proposals on how the district can develop over the next ten years in its Salzlandkreis 2030 strategy for the future. To this end, important regional factors for the future were considered and evaluated in terms of their influence on the future development of the region. The areas for action identified by the district administration were summarised in four central clusters of action:
- Science and business
- Welfare of existence
- Modern district administration
- Communication
In multi-stage processes, important strategic goals up to 2030 were formulated within these thematic areas and underpinned with concrete measures on how the district administration can contribute to the future organisation process.
With this strategy paper, the district administration aims to provide impetus for viewing the Salzland district as an overall system in terms of its development potential. Of central importance here are
- maintaining the region's municipal performance and competitiveness
- Maintaining administrative capacity by reducing costs and making financial savings as a contribution to budget consolidation and for the benefit of the region
- Modernisation of administration (costs, time, processes, personnel deployment) and promotion of citizen participation and satisfaction
- the development of forward-looking solutions to constantly changing social and economic challenges and framework conditions
- Systematic, data protection-compliant and secure (digital) networking of administrative locations and the region using suitable information and communication technologies
- the removal of existing barriers and the further development of public services and inter-municipal cooperation models
The Salzlandkreis 2030 strategy for the future is intended to serve as a basis for the development of pioneering and sustainable measures, strengthen the external image of our region and inter-municipal cooperation by identifying common priority issues, and thus set the course for a future-oriented Salzlandkreis region.
