Apply for a change to an entry in the trailer directory
Service description
If you own several trailers, you can apply to the competent authority for a trailer register. This lists all trailers registered to you. The trailer register replaces all Part 1 registration certificates.
If the number of your trailers changes, you must amend your trailer register. You must notify the competent authority if you:
- New trailer authorisation
- Deregister trailer
The trailer list is then corrected or supplemented accordingly.
You must also report changes that affect existing vehicles, for example:
- Changes to the location of the vehicles
- Modification of the permissible axle loads, the total mass or the drawbar load
- Increase in vehicle dimensions
You must present the trailer list to the registration office for the changes. If you have applied for multiple copies, you must also submit these.
