Applying for a partial building permit for the construction of a system

You can apply for a partial building permit for the construction of a system digitally or in writing.

Proceed as follows for written applications:

• Submit the application and state in it which planning application your application for partial planning permission relates to and which construction measures it covers.
• Add the required building documents.
• Submit the application documents to the responsible lower building supervisory authority.
• If necessary, the lower building supervisory authority will ask you to make an advance fee payment.
• Make the advance payment.
• If documents are missing or there are other ambiguities, you will be asked to complete or rectify them.

Lower building supervisory authority

You will receive a partial building licence:

• if the building application is complete with regard to the building measures applied for partial building authorisation
• the described building project complies with public law regulations

If not yet submitted for planning application:

• Extract from the official property map
• Site plan
• Construction drawings
• Building description

If you have a partial building permit, you must submit a notice of commencement of construction work to the lower building supervisory authority at least one week before the start of construction work.
