Bernburg. A new impetus for childcare centres in the Salzlandkreis! Saxony-Anhalt is making over 3.1 million euros available for planned modernisation and refurbishment. Operators of childcare centres or childminding services can now submit their funding applications.
The Salzlandkreis Youth and Family Service collects these reports until the end of October, on the basis of a relevant administrative agreement with the relevant Ministry of Social Affairs. This procedure is designed to assess the scope for investment and thus ensure better planning. The funding comes from the federal special fund ‘Infrastructure and Climate Neutrality’.
Investments in new construction, extension, conversion, refurbishment, modernisation and renovation projects that comply with the requirements of the Act on Energy Saving and the Use of Renewable Energies for Heating and Cooling in Buildings, as well as investments in equipment, are eligible for funding.
The funding rate is a maximum of 95 per cent of eligible costs. The funding period ends on 31 December 2032. The State Ministry of Social Affairs is currently drawing up the specific funding guidelines.
