Bernburg. The Salzlandkreis has been informed by the State Administration Office of Saxony-Anhalt that funding will be made available in 2026 to support leisure activities for children and young people.
An application was then submitted by the Salzland district. At the present time, no notification of funding has been received.
Subject to approval by the State Administration Office, applications for funding for children's and youth leisure activities for 2026 can be submitted to the Salzlandkreis district by independent youth welfare organisations as well as local authorities, single and association municipalities.
Funding is provided for trips, holiday camps and leisure activities for the purpose of children and youth recreation in accordance with Section 11 (3) No. 5 of Book Eight of the German Social Code for children and young people aged between six and 18 from Saxony-Anhalt. This includes, in particular, pedagogically supervised children's and youth leisure activities that sustainably promote the personal development, education and social integration of young people.
