Aschersleben. Reliability, trust and expertise – that's what G-Systems GmbH in Aschersleben stands for. The company, founded and managed by Ralph Groth, takes care of security for businesses – from small shops in the Salzlandkreis district to well-known and internationally active companies. They install fire alarm systems, burglar alarms, smoke and heat extraction systems and video cameras. Since its foundation in 2009, these three qualities have made G-Systems GmbH so successful that it has grown from a former four-man company to a company with 22 employees.
A few days ago, Managing Director Ralph Groth explained to District Administrator Markus Bauer and Tilo Wechselberger, the head of the department responsible for district development, exactly how they managed to do this during a visit to the company in Aschersleben. Ralph Groth and the district administrator had met in person at an event in the town some time ago and agreed to meet again. Markus Bauer: "I think it's great that Mr Groth explicitly committed himself to the Salzland district when he founded the company. The region benefits enormously from his economic success and his wide-ranging commitment. This interaction is what makes us so successful as a company, even in rural areas."
In fact, G-Systems GmbH supports various children's and youth organisations in the town, the volunteer fire brigade and sports clubs in the region. Managing Director Ralph Groth is himself the honorary chairman of the association, which is responsible for the independent Adam Olearius School in Aschersleben. The experienced systems engineer set up his own business after almost two decades with a large service provider for security systems and made a conscious decision in favour of his home town as his place of business. He says it is important to create an environment in which young families in particular feel comfortable. In his opinion, this includes modern schools and successful companies: "It is important that young people here have a good income and the right prospects to shape the future of our region together with us." The company received the Aschersleben Business Award in 2021 for its commitment.
Creating good and, above all, sustainable framework conditions in rural areas in order to be attractive for families outside of urban centres is also the declared goal of District Administrator Markus Bauer. The Salzlandkreis 2030 future strategy describes the way to achieve this, as Markus Bauer says: "Our strategy is the basis for our joint action. Anyone who wants to make our region as strong as we or G-Systems GmbH do can build on it." During the discussion, the district administrator referred to existing networks such as the Economic Advisory Board, which meets regularly at the invitation of the Salzland district to discuss important topics.
