The following applications are accepted at the vehicle registration centres/citizens' offices in Aschersleben and Schönebeck (Elbe):
- Application for exemption from wearing a seatbelt according to § 21a StVO
- Application for exemption from wearing a safety helmet in accordance with § 21a StVO
- Submission of a medical certificate
- Application for exemption authorisation for the granting of parking concessions for severely disabled persons
- Presentation of a disabled person's pass is required
- Submission of the assessment notice from the State Office of Administration (Department 307 / Severely Disabled Persons' Rights) on the determination of the degree of disability and the characteristics granted
- Submission of an original passport photo for the aG (exceptional walking disability) and Bl (blind) markings.

Commercial road transport
Commercial road transport comprises the areas of road haulage, passenger transport and scheduled public transport.
- Processing of commercial road haulage matters (road haulage permits, issuing of licences for international road haulage)
