Foreign licence plates
In accordance with § 16 Paragraph 1 FZV, foreign licence plates can only be deregistered in the Salzlandkreis if the Salzlandkreis is the locally responsible registration authority. Proof must be provided by the applicant (e.g. purchase contract, invoice or identity card if the registered vehicle owner has relocated to the Salzlandkreis).
