EL-SA tour

The EL-SA tour also leads through the Elbe-Saale region and provides an extensive view of the particularly valuable areas of the "Middle Elbe" biosphere reserve, such as the Lödderitz Forest.
Here in this part of the Salzland district with the lowest population density and the largest contiguous forest areas, you will find pure peace and tranquillity. Small villages with 1000 years of history and some of them with old churches (Zuchau) are lined up along the route, some of which now belong to the town of Barby in the Salzland district and to the single municipality of Osternienburger Land in the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld. You should not miss very special sights such as a historic forester's cemetery near Lödderitz, the museum ship in Breitenhagen, the smallest hunting lodge in Saxony-Anhalt and works of art from the 1st Diebzig Sculpture Workshop in Diebzig as well as a gallery barn in Klein Rosenburg. You might also enjoy a cycle tour followed by a visit to one of the region's many village festivals.
