Psychiatry coordination
The psychiatry coordinator of the Salzland district is responsible for the structural coordination of support services for people with a mental illness and for drawing up the psychiatric care strategy (in accordance with Section 8 PsychKG LSA).
She is also responsible for the following areas:
- Coordination of the work of the community psychiatric network, taking into account the interests of those affected and their relatives (in accordance with Section 7 PsychKG LSA)
- Cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Equality to provide feedback on care planning for mentally ill people in Saxony-Anhalt
- Networking with the state administration office, the state's psychiatry coordinators and all community psychiatry cooperation partners in the Salzland district
- Further development of social psychiatric care
- Promoting the inclusion of mentally ill people and addicts in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
- Support with labour market integration on a systemic level
- Public relations
- Improving the framework conditions for prevention and self-help
- Contact person for critical comments, complaints, etc.
- Professional support for the patient advocate
- Raising awareness of the needs of people with mental illnesses and addictions (helping to break down prejudices).
