Active integration
The state of Saxony-Anhalt supports various measures to improve the integration opportunities of long-term unemployed people who are distant from the labour market. The basis for the execution and implementation of corresponding projects is the "REGIO AKTIV" guideline on the granting of subsidies for the regionalisation of labour market promotion from funds of the European Social Fund Plus and the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
The regulations of the "REGIO AKTIV" guideline on the granting of subsidies for the regionalisation of labour market promotion from funds of the European Social Fund Plus and the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Part 2 Special regulations, Section 1, Funding area A Vocational integration of persons with special placement barriers "Active integration" (AE) apply.
Goal and target group
The aim is to achieve better integration progress through long-term, individual, solution-oriented integration support for those affected and ultimately to achieve and consolidate their professional integration into the primary labour market or training.
The needs analysis for the Salzlandkreis results in a target group with pronounced employment-related deficits or integration difficulties and the resulting special need for support. The target group for the support are people who are disadvantaged on the labour market, who can no longer be reached with the help of the support offers according to the Second Book of the Social Code or the Third Book of the Social Code and who have a special need for support in integrating into the primary labour market or into training.
These include the long-term unemployed
- who have been unemployed for more than two years and are generally over 35 years old,
- with health or mental impairments or disabilities, or
- with a migration background.
Contents
A project can be aimed at both individual and multiple target groups as described.
The projects include holistic offers for activation, personal stabilisation and qualification as well as sustainable professional integration. Participants should receive intensive support and guidance throughout all project elements. The following project elements should be flexibly combined with one another:
- Individual strength-orientated situation and needs analysis, creation of individual development plans,
- Developing employability,
- Guidance and support with professional integration, including aftercare.
Implementation period
In the Salzland district, one project will be carried out in each of the four large medium-sized centres of Aschersleben, Bernburg (Saale), Schönebeck (Elbe) and Staßfurt in the period from 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2027.
