Authorisation for the acquisition of firearms in another Member State or Contracting State by persons from the Federal Republic of Germany Issue
Service description
If you live in Germany and wish to purchase a firearm in accordance with Annex 1 Section 3 No. 2 (Category B) of the Weapons Act or ammunition in a member state with a licence from that state, you require a licence.
Procedure
You will receive authorisation to purchase weapons and ammunition in another member state if you provide the following information in full when submitting your application:
- about your person:
- First name and surname
- Date and place of birth
- Addresses
- Number, date of issue and issuing authority of the passport or identity card
- about the weapon:
- for firearms:
- Number and type
- Calibre
- Category according to Annex 1 Section 3 of the Weapons Act
- CIP ballistic mark, if applicable
- for other weapons:
- Number and type
- for firearms:
- about the ammunition:
- Number and type
- Calibre
- CIP test mark, if applicable
- about your person:
