Authorisation for commercial arms manufacturers or arms dealers to transport arms and ammunition for a period of up to 3 years

If you wish to take weapons or ammunition to arms dealers in other Member States of the European Union, you will need an export licence.

The authorisation may be restricted to certain types of weapons or ammunition and to certain Member States.

If you are transporting weapons or ammunition under licence, you must notify the Federal Office of Administration in advance.

When applying for the permit, you must provide the following details:

• Company name and address
• Telephone or fax number
• Surname and first name, place and date of birth of the licence holder
• Beneficiary Member State
• Type of weapons and ammunition
