Service description
The Building Energy Act sets requirements for the energy performance of buildings. The owner of a heated or cooled building must prove that the building fulfils the requirements of the Building Energy Act. Proof is provided with the declaration of fulfilment. The declaration of fulfilment must be submitted after external components of the building have been renewed, replaced or installed for the first time and the building has been assessed in terms of energy efficiency.
Procedure
The respective countries regulate the procedure for the declaration of fulfilment, the authorisation to issue it, the mandatory information and the evidence to be submitted.
