Display removal of an installation
Service description
You must notify the lower building supervisory authority in advance if you wish to remove a structure.
This applies to disposal that does not require a procedure.
You may dispose of the following installations without having to follow the procedure:
- Installations in accordance with Section 60 (1) BauO LSA (for example: smaller garages, masts or walls)
- Detached buildings of building classes 1 and 3
- and other installations that are not buildings with a height of up to 10 metres.
You can start removing the installation one month after your notification if the building supervisory authority does not take any building supervisory measures.
If you only want to remove part of a building project, this is a change to a building structure. You will need a building permit for this.
The following applies to non-detached buildings: You must have the stability of the building or buildings to which the building to be removed is attached checked. The inspection must be carried out by a qualified structural engineer. The removal must then be monitored. This does not apply if the building is attached to a building that is not subject to a procedure.
