Register a representative for the prostitution trade
Service description
You can have your prostitution business operated by a representative. This may consist of one person or several persons. To do this, you must apply in writing for a proxy licence for each person.
As soon as you no longer use this person as a deputy, you must notify the competent authority immediately. The deputy authorisation can be issued for a limited period.

Prerequisites
The deputy must
- be at least 18 years old,
- possess the reliability required for the operation of a prostitution business.
Which documents are required?
- Licence for the prostitution business for which the prostitution licence is being applied for,
- Written application for authorisation to deputise,
- Identity card, passport, electronic residence permit if applicable
- Certificate of good conduct for submission to an authority according to document type "0" or European certificate of good conduct,
- Central trade register extract for submission to an authority according to document type "9",
- Certificate in tax matters from the responsible tax office.

A statement from the police is obtained to check reliability.
If you do not have German citizenship and wish to work in Germany on a self-employed or non-self-employed basis, you need a German residence permit authorising you to do so. This does not apply if you come from an EU country.
