Pömmelte. Herbs grow everywhere and all year round – as they did in the days of our ancestors at the Pömmelte ring sanctuary. Participants in a herb workshop on 10 September will follow in their footsteps with Sabine Priezel.
The ‘herbalist’ takes participants on a walk through the meadows surrounding the holiday resort and shows them the botanical treasures that nature has to offer throughout the seasons. Along the way, participants also learnt a great deal about the medicinal properties and uses of the herbs.
To gain a deeper understanding of St John’s wort, yarrow and other such plants, you will then make something practical for your home medicine cabinet. Please bring along two empty screw-top jars for this.
Participants pay the fee of 15 euros on the day of the event at the TIZ.
