Donating blood is one of the simplest and quickest good deeds: donate blood in just 30 to 60 minutes to ensure the supply of blood products to patients at Halle (Saale) University Hospital and save up to three lives. For every donation, we thank you with a tasty snack for the journey home and an expense allowance of EUR 20 (the allowance is a reimbursement for time and travelling expenses as well as the physical effort involved in the donation).

When can you donate blood?
- You are healthy
- You weigh at least 50 kg
- You do not have a cold
- Your last whole blood donation was at least 8 weeks ago
- You drank 1.5 litres beforehand
- You bring an identity document with you
