Pömmelte. As daylight fades, the mystical atmosphere of the ring sanctuary comes to life. The wooden palisades and carved ornaments take on a particularly mysterious air during the ‘blue hour’. Visitors on the evening guided tours gain an understanding of the site and learn everything they need to know about the ‘German Stonehenge’. This special visitor programme will take place three more times this year: on 28 August, 26 September and 24 October.
These atmospheric guided tours of the Pömmelte Ring Sanctuary site, led by a qualified guide, cost €7.00 for adults and €3.00 for children (aged 7 to 17).
