Aschersleben. This year’s results have also impressed the State Administration Office. The Salzlandkreis Adult Education Centre (KVHS) is authorised to offer the further training programme leading to certification as a children’s yoga teacher for a further two years – as part of a study leave scheme comprising two modules.
The next training course, funded by the employer through educational leave, is due to start next year on 19 May with the first five-day module. This will focus on how children’s yoga is derived from adult yoga. The second module will follow from 10 to 14 July. The focus will then be on how to tailor lessons to suit children. The basics of children’s yoga will be explained and practised, and specific relaxation and meditation techniques for children will be taught.
Once they have attended both modules at the KVHS, participants will receive a certificate confirming their further training.
Anyone interested must register well in advance. The KVHS will then issue a confirmation of registration, which employees need to submit to their employer in order to obtain authorisation for educational leave.
