Aschersleben. Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world – at the KVHS in Aschersleben, anyone interested can learn the basics or brush up on their skills before the end of this year.
From 30 November, the district adult education centre will be offering two taster courses in Spanish, held once a week, each consisting of three sessions. Participants with no prior knowledge are expected to attend on Mondays at 4.00 pm, whilst those with prior knowledge should attend afterwards, at 5.45 pm.
To begin with, the course covers basic vocabulary and the most important verb forms for simple conversations – such as talking about oneself and other people, going shopping or ordering in a restaurant – to help you find your way around the city and communicate in a straightforward manner in everyday situations. To refresh your Spanish skills, the course combines active speaking, focused listening and structured repetition.
