Kite-making workshop
21 October 2026 | 10 am – 2 pm | 7 euros
Under supervision, children will design their own colourful kites. The aim is to skilfully bring their creative ideas to life so that, at the end, the kites can be sent up into the sky above the Ringheiligtum and everyone can marvel at the blaze of colour. Workshop participants pay 7 euros towards costs.

Following in the footsteps of our ancestors’ clothing – How is a fluffy wool fleece turned into yarn, and how is that yarn made into clothes? For everyone aged ten and over, let’s find out together
Embark on a journey of discovery into times long past. From wool fleece, through spinning with spindles and spinning wheels, to the finished yarn – exciting encounters with traditional techniques, showing how people processed wool and used it to make clothing and textile materials. Includes a chance to try it out for yourself. Recommended for participants aged ten and over.

Wooden amulets – a piece of the past to make yourself

This workshop aims to answer the questions: What symbols did prehistoric people use, and what did amulets look like thousands of years ago? And it does so through hands-on activities, as participants will create their own wooden amulets, inspired by depictions from the Corded Ware, Bell Beaker and Aunjetzitzer cultures.

Cup shapes from ancient times

Jutta Immelmann is an experienced ceramics specialist and has led numerous pottery courses, including at the Ringheiligtum. In this holiday programme, participants will explore the fascinating world of the Glockenbeck, Schnurkeramik and Aunjetitz cultures in a creative way. They will work with self-drying clay and will be able to make the typical vessels of those ancient times themselves and then take them home.
