Aschersleben. A monthly lecture on the local history of the town and its surroundings: the District Adult Education Centre is launching a new lecture series in Aschersleben on 21 January. “Our programme ‘History Unplugged – Authentic and Local’ runs throughout the year,” announces Alexander Hartkopp. He is the director of the Salzlandkreis Education Academy, of which the KVHS is a part. “Those interested can look forward to regional historical gems in the form of specialist lectures, each lasting an hour and a half and offering both informative and entertaining content.”
In this new KVHS lecture series, on the third Wednesday of every month from 6 to 7.30 pm in Aschersleben Augustapromenade 44 (room 2/ground floor), well-known local actors, experienced tour guides and members of the KVHS history workshop will share their expert knowledge of the history of the Aschersleben area with guests.
All for 6 euros per event. There is also a half-year pass at the special price of 30 euros. You can register online at any time
