Bernburg. Get off the sofa and into your trainers – that's the motto after the autumn holidays for the Crazy Kids course run by the Young VHS department. After a two-year break, a trainer has finally been found and the course is back on offer. The KVHS course leader offers children many forms of exercise and makes use of their curiosity and natural urge to move. Play, fun and social skills strengthen self-confidence – 60 minutes for the healthy development of children. The joy of movement alone is important.
The Crazy Kids course starts on 8 November in the sports hall of the Campus Technicus, Leipziger Straße and includes five sessions on Saturday mornings: for the group of four to five-year-olds from 9.15 am, the second group of six to eight-year-olds starts at 10.30 am.
The kids' yoga course starting on 28 October at the KVHS, Vor dem Nienburger Tor, is a little quieter. Children playfully experience how the body can relax, breathe and move. The exercises are designed to be creative and adventurous with stories, fantasy journeys and fairy tales, which promotes learning skills and concentration. Bright children can calm down and relax, while the more shy ones gain self-confidence. The programme offers a balance to the often performance-oriented school day and is aimed at children aged six to ten.
The necessary registration for the courses can be done online via the website kvhs.salzlandkreis.de, by email or in person at the KVHS. Questions regarding content will be answered by staff members:
