Atzendorf. It is a relatively small business, but one with a wealth of experience and expertise in the world of powder coating – Seile Beschichtungen GmbH, located in the industrial estate in Atzendorf. District Administrator Markus Bauer visited the family-run business, led by Managing Director Lars Seile from Borne, a few days ago. “I want to see for myself how our businesses are faring. Because only when companies offer reliable jobs in the Salzlandkreis does the region also benefit as a place to live. Employees can then get involved in voluntary work after work and thus enrich community life. That is at least as important as business rates for towns and local authorities.” He thanked Lars Seile for his commitment to the region.
Seile Beschichtungen GmbH coats surfaces of all kinds with powder coating, which serves as corrosion protection. According to Managing Director Lars Seile, this is the most environmentally friendly industrial coating method. The process is also more effective than other methods thanks to state-of-the-art technology. The Managing Director explained the process during a tour of the factory hall. Up to ten employees work in two shifts on the company premises in Atzendorf. "Over the years, we have built up a solid customer base that appreciates the quality of our service," reports Lars Seile. Because: "Our aim is to be among the best." Customers include locksmiths and metalworkers who manufacture parts for agriculture, wind energy and Deutsche Bahn, as well as private customers.
District Administrator Markus Bauer and business promoter Tilo Wechselberger were also impressed by the company's history during the visit: the company has existed for four generations, started out as a painting business in the 1930s and has since been active throughout Germany. "Corrosion protection is always a major issue in construction projects," explained Lars Seile. At the same time, the company coated televisions and receivers for RFT Fernsehen from Staßfurt. In the meantime, the general conditions have become more difficult, particularly in view of the rise in energy prices and the customs policy of the USA. "As a small company, we are also feeling the effects," reported Lars Seile.
