Bernburg. Quick and easy access to the so-called health certificate for the food sector – the Salzlandkreis district is expanding its range of digital services and now also offers the necessary training in accordance with the Infection Protection Act (IfSG) online – around the clock, without any additional travel or associated time expenditure. Alternatively, two weekly appointments remain available on site at the district administration office: Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and Thursdays at 10 a.m.
According to Section 43 IfSG, the service is aimed at "persons who commercially produce, handle or place perishable foodstuffs on the market, or who work in kitchens of restaurants and other facilities with or for communal catering". Pathogens can be transmitted to other people via food. Special hygiene regulations must therefore be observed. The persons concerned must prove their knowledge of this in the instruction before starting their work and receive a certificate from the public health department.
This instruction is now also available online via the Salzlandkreis online services homepage and can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The online instruction can also be completed in English, French, Arabic, Turkish, Russian and Italian. For the hearing impaired, the instructional videos are available with subtitles.
The procedure is designed to be completely "seamless". This means that neither the instruction, nor payment, receipt or submission of documents require personal contact with employees of the specialised health service. The certificate is made available as a PDF document after successful completion of instruction and payment.
If you have any questions, please call the Salzlandkreis Health Department on +49 3471 684-2690.
