The annual Candlemas at the beginning of February is characterised by light and new beginnings. It marks the end of the depths of winter. To mark the occasion, the Salzland district invites you to two special tours of the Pömmelte ring shrine on 1 February. Illuminated lanterns bring a cosy atmosphere to the site. The sunset and the grounds can be enjoyed individually after the guided tours. The Salzland Museum Association will provide warm drinks and delicious snacks on site.

The guided tours start at 16:00 and 16:15.

The maximum number of participants is 30 per session. A binding registration is required to take part: please register by 29 January at fuehrungen@kreis-slk.de. The participation fee (€7.00 per person) is to be paid on the day of the event at the TIZ Tourist Information Centre.
