In addition, further e-mail addresses of individual departments or persons are stored on the Salzlandkreis website. E-mails can also be sent to these addresses. The e-mail communication channel is only available for informal contact.

Please note that this means of communication cannot be used to submit applications or written pleadings that require the written form for legal reasons with legal effect. If a message received by e-mail contains a corresponding pleading, it is absolutely necessary to repeat the transmission by post in compliance with any deadlines. For objections and appeals, the formal requirements specified in the information on legal remedies in the notices are decisive.

The following file formats are processed without technical restrictions:

• Image files (*.jpg, *.gif, *.tif, *.bmp).

No processing guarantee is given for all other file formats.

The following e-mails are generally not accepted:

E-mails with executable files (e.g. *.exe, *.bat, *.vbs,...) as attachments or those that contain automated processes or programming (e.g. macros).

The size of an electronic message (including all attachments) must not exceed 50 megabytes (e-mail). If this data volume is exceeded, the mail systems will automatically refuse to accept it.
